1. Agreement to Terms

2. Product Descriptions & Natural Variation 

  • Natural Wood: Our ADUs are crafted from natural wood. The customer acknowledges that variations in color, grain, and minor "checking" (surface cracks) are natural characteristics of timber and are not considered manufacturing defects.

  • Accuracy: We strive to be as accurate as possible in our product images and descriptions. However, actual colors and finishes may vary slightly depending on your monitor settings and the natural properties of the wood.

3. Compliance with Local Laws & Permits 

  • Customer Responsibility: Obtaining all necessary building permits, zoning approvals (e.g., DA/CDC in Australia), and HOA clearances is the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • Compliance: [Your Brand Name] provides architectural and engineering documentation for our standard models, but we do not guarantee approval by local authorities. Failure to obtain a permit is not grounds for a refund or return.

4. Orders, Pricing & Payments 

  • Currency: All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified.

  • Taxes & Duties: For international orders, customers are responsible for all applicable import duties, VAT, or local sales taxes in their destination country.

  • Modifications: We reserve the right to refuse any order or limit quantities per person/household.

5. Site Preparation & Installation 

  • Foundation: Customers must ensure a level, professional-grade foundation is ready before delivery.

  • Utility Hookups: All electrical, plumbing, and sewage connections must be performed by licensed local professionals at the customer's expense.

  • Liability: We are not liable for structural issues caused by inadequate site preparation or improper third-party installation.

6. Limitation of Liability 

  • Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.

  • No Indirect Damages: Under no circumstances shall [Your Brand Name] be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including:

    • Lost rental income or business revenue.

    • Third-party contractor fees or crane standby costs due to shipping delays.

    • Costs for site restoration or foundation removal.

7. Force Majeure 

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, shipping strikes, port congestion, global supply chain disruptions, or government restrictions.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction 

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be submitted exclusively to the courts of Lishui, Zhejiang Province, China.
